Author Assist

After several years of supporting novice researchers and contributing to multiple successful publications, the Author Assist service was phased out in 2023, as it was felt that a formal structure was no longer required.

We continue to encourage emerging authors in African emergency care to:

• Review and follow the journal’s author guidelines carefully when preparing submissions.
• Seek informal support and feedback from experienced colleagues or mentors.
• Submit their work with confidence – if we see potential in a submission, our editorial team will do its best to guide it towards further development.
