Trauma Data Form and Registry

The lack of documentation of the burden of traumatic injuries in Africa is a critical barrier to improving the provisions of trauma care. To help address this knowledge gap, AFEM has developed and successfully implemented a standardised clinical chart for capturing essential information on injured patients. Stemming from this standardised data collection is AFEM’s Trauma Data Registry, a collection of data from multiple African nations that can be utilised to understand the current status of trauma across the continent.
